If Christianity’s so great, then why are there so many churches? [My FAQ1]

I guess that question can best be answered by asking another set of questions: If (booze | chicken parm | a cheesesteak | a cheeseburger) is so great, then why are there so many (bars | italian restaurants | cheesesteak places | diners)? You can make the same argument for all these instances:
