another day’s battle with inner resistance
it’s the start of another day
and the familiarity with a new schedule.
another coworker is rattled with having
his father take a rather bad turn
in a rather faraway place, which served to
keep him on edge for most of the day.
add to the mix a few truly annoying
coeds and customers and you have the makings
of a really trying day.
Which it was.
these are the type of days which
leave you to doubt why you’re here
if you only focus on the day
and exclude all other better days.
on some days realizing that the battle
of inner resistance is fought anew each day is frustrating.
Not today.
The battle of inner resistance begins again tomorrow.
For that I am grateful.

found out one of my coworkers lost his house to a fire
from Fox 29:

Six firefighters were taken to area hospitals for minor injuries and 30 residents were displaced.
The building where the blaze began is located at 10th and Spruce Streets.
The fire broke out shortly after 9p.m. and was classified as a three-alarm fire just before 10 p.m.
By 10:50p.m., the flames were placed under control. Many firefighters remained on the scene and residents were not allowed to return.
MacBook RAZR, 6 degrees of Tim Ferriss, and a Neil Prussel observation
Things I’ve realized today:
The MacBook Air should be called the MacBook RAZR because:
- It’s thin, silver, solid state (don’t even think about the stock 4200rpm HD).
- All the cool kids (i.e. famous for being famous) will get them.
- In the space of two years they will become ubiquitous.
My six degrees to Tim Ferriss got a heckuva lot shorter due to a coworker’s encounter with him.
I had another thing, too…. wait…

I’ve pretty much concluded that the Internet Marketing market
seems to have turned into a writer’s magazine kind of market -
where your target customer is, as my friend Neil Prussel would describe them,
“wannabes who ain’t never gonna be“
