Reflections on a 3 day weekend
I’ve had a 3 day weekend in which you’d think I’d have more to blog about,
with the exception of my take on reality show grammar
as well as my aggravation with a TV “talent” show.
Showed my sister how to sell stuff on eBay -
(i.e. search for item, search completed item, “sell one like this”)
got dinner out of it.
Otherwise had a volitional paralysis based upon
an overload of items I should be doing.
I want it to be over.
today I went through the day knowing that I didn’t do everything
but I did what could be done with a minimum of aggravation.
we were one person down today, which made for an interesting day.
It’s a vague and uncertain dissatisfaction that hangs around these days,

a sunday of flat tires and general lite aggravation
Had the 9:30 service this morning -
was a baptism service with a message on gratitude
(which you’ll probably find here)
Gratitude continued at the Old Country Buffet,
where I indulged in scrambled egg, bacon and beef sausage goodness.
Mom was engaging in a quest for a certain set of bells
that she saw in a dollar store somewhere that had the
line from It’s a Wonderful Life about angels getting their
wings whenever a bell rings. This brought us back to Franklin Mills.
