I want it to be over.
December 5th, 2007today I went through the day knowing that I didn’t do everything
but I did what could be done with a minimum of aggravation.
we were one person down today, which made for an interesting day.
It’s a vague and uncertain dissatisfaction that hangs around these days,
a frustrating not knowing what I want, just that this isn’t it….
how much of what I do is a treadmill game of chimeric validation,
a state of in-between-ness where the other thing is enshrouded in fog?
it’s been so long - I want it to be over.
Not in the long last sleep of the body,
but the seated rest of having done something,
the one big thing perhaps, the one big thing I don’t yet know.
