As if the season couldn’t get any worse…
December 25th, 2006
a bunch of nigerian scammers hijacked one of my eBay accounts,
which, of course, effected all my eBay accounts….
The bastards even tried to get to my PayPal account (no dice, though)
I’ve been spending most of tonight undoing the damage…
went to Tenth’s Christmas Eve service, saw very few people I knew
(that happens when you don’t attend frequently).
and I felt little else but bone tired.
on the bright side, got my mom a cell phone
It’s for basic calling, but has GPS enabled so 911 knows where you
(or, actually, the handset) are in case you don’t…

I’m so sorry about the eBay thing, John.
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your mom aside from that. I wish I could send you hugs and good cheer. If I think of a way to do it, expect a package.

it was more of an annoyance than anything - most of the sellers were smart ebayers and didn’t ship once they were asked to ship to africa.
thanks for the sentiments, though…
