here’s the official proof - I’m at 30 billion Blogshares dollars

I can’t believe how far I’ve come since September (when I started all this).

It all started out as just another way to get links to my blog,
but then the element of the the game and the trading took over.
It’s not quite as obsessive as playing World Of Warcraft (or so I’m told),
but this definitely competes in terms of time suck.

I’ve settled into a world of shares, artefacts, chips, pressure publics, PR disasters, and hype
where I can get at least $100 Million BS$ per round of artefact use (more or less), which I
invest with a group called the Browncoats (so I make more with or without showing up).

I’ve paid for a year of premium membership for less than half the cost of a
World of Warcraft 60 Day Pre-Paid Time Card,
so I guess I wind up just as tired but less broke.

Overall I’d say it’s worth checking out.

Got to use the scooter I got with the OT from Christmas break -

it’s a Xootr (pronounced zooter) Cruz Ultra and all I can say is wow!

Put it to the test today, putting a grueling yet satisfying 5-6 miles,

3-4 of which was mostly on Center City sidewalks and

Old City brick pavements.

Pros:

• next to no rolling resistance - I could roll along at aimlessly wandering human speed without having to push
• gawd-awfully quick burst speed responses when needed
• any downhill grade (even a 1% grade) = cruising
• folds up and carries easy

Cons:

• no suspension - you get to feel every crack in the sidewalk
• uphill? fuhgeddaboudit!

This isn’t going to be an everyday thing, just a once per weekend thing for now…

well, mereBreath rehearsal starts in 12 hours, so I’ve gotta go…
